New members welcome
The Branch is run by a small number of officers, they form the Executive Committee. This Committee meets every second Monday of the month, apart from March & August. The elections for the posts of Branch Officers takes place at the Annual General Meeting. All members of the Branch can stand for any position.

The AGM is normally held on the second Monday of March, at a venue in the City. It is open to all Branch members and refreshments are provided.

The branch needs you!
The Branch is active considering it's position in the Corporation. However, it needs some more members to bring in some fresh ideas and impetus.  No-one is expected to be given any job that is time consuming, also training is given if required. If you are interested please contact the Branch Secretary.

BBranch Secretary Malcom Key

In his role as Secretary, Malcolm has been involved in many issues affecting the membership. He's employed as a Librarian and is instrumental in opposing any proposed cuts in the library services within the Corporation. Away from work he follows the fortunes of the St Helen's Rugby League team.

BBranch Chairperson Tim Harvey
Tim works in the Corporations Planning Department. He is also involved in the Staff Sports & Social Club, particularly the Marathon Team. Apart from his running, Tim's other form of relaxation is to follow the Arsenal.
In his previous life, Tim was a Branch Secretary in the Health Service.
BBranch Treasurer David Stratton

Like the other two mentioned officers, David as been active in the Union for number of years. He previously held the post of Branch Secretary, both for the Corporation and another local government branch. He's employed as a computer programmer. When he's not counting the Branch's money, David also likes to follow Rugby League, but coming from the East End he is a West Ham United supporter at heart.
