The Corporation of London Branch has signed up to the union's new helpline service UNISONdirect. 0845 355 0845 is the helpline number to ring if for any reason you cannot get through to the branch. It is available Monday to Saturday.
Monday to Friday it is available from 9am until midnight
Saturday 9am to 4pm.
Corporation members can already get the branch secretary or leave a message on 07721 060 737 at any time, but UNISONdirect offers the chance to talk to someone when the branch line is unavailable.
There is no charge for making the call and you will get a UNISON staff member who will be able to give advice and make sure the branch is contacted on your behalf by phone or e-mail. UNISONdirect can also send you information about common problems at work.
However, the object of the service is to put in touch with the UNISON branch. UNISONdirect staff will always want to know whether you have contacted your branch officers. A part of the service is to support the branch in dealing with members' problems by providing information.
